| WTC Announces The Ironman® Store to Open in Tampa |
      Endurance Sports, LLC (WES) to build the company's first brick-and-mortar retail store. The Ironman® Store is located at 6417 County Line Road, Tampa, Fla., in a fast-growing and affluent region in Tampa Bay. For the first time, multi-sport enthusiasts, runners and endurance athletes will have the opportunity to shop for the highest-quality triathlon equipment, running shoes, apparel, swim gear and triathlon bicycles from the top manufacturers in a single retail location endorsed by Ironman®. For 31 years, Ironman has been recognized for athletic excellence, performance and quality products. Now, The Ironman Store will feature many of the same products used by professional athletes at the Ford Ironman World Championship, held in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, as well as the 24 qualifying Ironman and 42 Ironman 70.3® events worldwide. “This is a one-of-a-kind concept; a multi-sport store featuring both Ironman-branded products as well as top products from global manufacturers under one roof, ” said director of sponsorship and licensing, Andy Giancola. The Ironman Store will bring gear for triathlon’s three disciplines into one retail venue. Swimming needs will be met with a section featuring swim suits, paddles, swim caps, buoys, training aids, wet suits and specialty accessories. From the novice to the elite athlete or pro, everyone will be able to find swimming equipment to fit his or her needs. The store will also contain a high-end bicycle facility, which will feature road, time-trial and triathlon bikes from some of the best brands available. Virtually every accessory, component, aero wheel and the latest apparel will be available to compliment our bikes or your existing race bike. Additionally, The Ironman Store will see a professionally staffed service and bike fit area to ensure the proper mechanics and optimal fit. Finally, a highly specialized run section will guide runners of all fitness levels in finding the perfect running shoe to support their level of activity.
