Colorado Springs, Colo. (June 20th, 2012) – SRM is thrilled to announce an all new event coverage project to be launched at the 99th Tour de France. SRM in Action, presented on www.SRM.de, will feature daily race files from SRM sponsored Pro-Tour teams as well as behind the scenes race photos, videos, and updates from inside the tour.

This year SRM, the industry leader in power measurement, sponsors twelve of the participating road teams. The SRM Training System was invented by SRM founder, Uli Schoberer, 26 years ago and has three major components. First, the SRM PowerMeter, a crank based power measurement device designed to quantify power output in watts. Second, the PowerControl cycling computer, mounted on the handlebar, displays and records real time power, cadence, speed, heart rate, altitude, distance, temperature, and kilojoules. Finally, SRMwin/mac software, designed to view and analyze data, is then used by athletes, coaches, sports physiologists, and trainers to devise and manage training and racing programs.
